NeoCon welcomes Paved States x Design Lab, an immersive installation jointly curated by Patricia Urquiola and Chris Force and created in collaboration with Sixtysix and Haworth. The installation transforms the THE MART lobby and showroom space into something entirely its own. Part gallery, part exhibition, part retail space, the environment unfolds as a lived-in apartment anchored by a listening room, inviting visitors to browse, touch, and move through a curated landscape of designed objects.
Throughout the week, Paved States will host a series of design-forward programs including panel talks and hands-on workshops in jewelry making, scent design, and floral making, offering an opportunity to engage with craft and connect with the creative community during one of design’s biggest weeks.
Sixtysix will also host a must-attend opening night cocktail reception on Monday, June 8 from 5–8pm. Mingle with designers, discover curated objects for sale, and experience the intersection of emerging talent and contemporary design culture, all set against live music, drinks, and special activations.
The exhibition features work from an exceptional roster of international and domestic designers: Zac Benloulou (Canada); Studio Rotolo, Stefano Giacomello (Canada); Ceren Arslan, Bureau Betak & EXIT Ceren (USA); Hank Beyer and Alex Sizemore, HBAS Co. (USA); Malcolm Majer (USA); Hannah Bigeleisen (New York); Kiki Goti (New York); Lauren Goodman (New York); and Madeline Isakson (New York).
Sixtysix Magazine will host an exclusive cocktail reception celebrating the Paved States X Design Lab exhibition at NeoCon in The Mart.
